Meet Chunk
Chunk (Jez) grew up fishing on the Southwest Coast of Western Australia with fishing always being a part of his life.
Chunk is a carpenter by trade, however, upon marrying The Chippy’s daughter, found himself at Hooked on Middleton Beach.
Chunk brings an expansive knowledge of recreational fishing and the South Coast of Western Australia to the podcast!
Fun Fact: As a young kid, Chunk used to ride his bike with a trailer on the back to the local Hopetoun jetty to fish after school, which is where his passion for fishing begun.
Favourite Fish Caught: 94cm Pink Snapper in 5 metres of water off Two Peoples Bay with a bream rod on 6 pound line.
Meet Chippy
The Chippy (Shane) has been running successful Fish and Chip shops for over 20 years! The Chippy loves to fish and has been recreationally fishing all his life!
The Chippy brings vast knowledge of fish, the fishing industry, filleting and business to The Hooked Pod!
Fun Fact: The Chippy has four children all of which grew up working in the family business’.
Favourite Fish Caught: Sailfish at Coral Bay, Western Australia
